WHO WE ARE
The Cochran Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and its appointed board are created to revitalize and redevelop the central business district of Cochran, Georgia. Downtown Development Authority (DDA) training provides local leaders with the skills
and knowledge they need to ensure a healthy, vibrant downtown.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership for the downtown development program is provided by the Downtown Development Authority of Cochran (DDA). Established in 1985 and reactivated in 2019, this active volunteer board works to enhance the economic vitality of Downtown Cochran.

Mission
The Cochran Downtown Development Authority works to assure the long term stability of Downtown Cochran by promoting economic growth and community activities to bring people downtown and to preserve and enhance the central, business district of our city.

Vision
Play an integral role in creating a vibrant, diverse, relevant and growing downtown.
The Cochran DDA currently meets
on the third Monday at 5:30 in the
Chamber Conference Room.
Meetings are open to the pubic
and are subject to change.
